Privacy Policy for TKDBDLE

1. Information We Collect

TKDBDLE requires minimal data to function. Depending on how you interact with the game, we collect:

• Discord User IDs & Guild IDs: When using the Discord bot or cloud-save features, we temporarily or persistently store your Discord User ID and the Server (Guild) ID where you play.
• Game Progress & Statistics: We store your daily guess history, case dates, and win/loss states to calculate averages and streaks.
• Leaderboard Profiles: If you opt into the leaderboards, we store your Discord username or your custom-chosen nickname.

2. How We Use Your Data

Collected data is used strictly for core game functionality:

• To maintain your daily streaks and prevent duplicate Daily Case submissions.
• To sync your game progress across sessions via Cloudflare Workers.
• To calculate and display rankings on the Global and Server leaderboards.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Web Storage: For standard web users, progress is saved locally on your device via browser Local Storage.
• Cloud Storage: For Discord-linked users, User IDs and guess histories are transmitted to and stored securely via Cloudflare Workers.

4. Third-Party Services

TKDBDLE operates using the Discord API. By using the bot, you are also subject to Discord’s Privacy Policy.

5. User Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data and how it is displayed. Please note the difference between hiding your public stats and deleting your save data:

• Hiding Leaderboard Data: If you no longer want your scores visible on the public or server leaderboards, click the "Opt Out of Leaderboard" button in the game menu. This immediately removes your profile from the public rankings, but retains your private cloud save data so you don't lose your cross-device streaks.
• Complete Data Deletion: You have the right to request the permanent deletion of all your TKDBDLE cloud save data at any time. To request a complete purge of your records from our servers, DM arianes. on Discord with your Discord User ID.
